After several successful launches, Motorola is planning to launch another smartphone in India. Motorola has teased the launch of the Moto E40 on Twitter. The Lenovo-owned company is yet to announce an official launch date for the Moto E40, but as per a tweet, the phone could be released soon. Motorola has just released the Edge 20 series in India. The Moto Edge 20 and Moto Edge 20 Fusion were the first models to be launched, though the Moto Edge 20 Pro was added later. Surprisingly, Motorola also unveiled the Moto Tab G20, a low-cost tablet. The Moto E40 is likely to be a budget phone, unlike the Motorola Edge 20 series that includes phones in the mid-range and premium segments.

According to reports, the device will be priced under Rs 10,000 in India and will be launched by the end of this month or early November.

The Moto E40 has also been featured on several foreign websites. The smartphone was initially discovered on Romanian shop site eMag. The smartphone is believed to include a 6.5-inch IPS HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels.
The Moto E40 is likely to be powered by a Unisoc T700 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The smartphone is likely to pack a 4,000mAh battery and a 10W charger. The phone will come pre-installed with Android 11 and may have a fingerprint sensor. In terms of cameras, the Moto E40 is expected to come with a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro and a 2MP sensor. At the same time, there can be an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfie.
