necessary ingredients
Semolina – 1 cup
Rice flour – 1 cup
Finely chopped onions – 3
Roasted Cashew – 3 tsp
Green chilies chopped – 3
Cumin – 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Ginger chopped – 1/2 piece
Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
salt – as per taste

To make Onion Rava Dosa, first take a vessel and mix semolina and rice flour in it. Keep mixing them till the mixture becomes soft. After this, add cumin, asafetida and salt as per taste and mix it well.
After this, cover and keep it in a warm place for a few hours. Before making, add chopped onion, cashew, ginger, green chili, black pepper to this mixture and mix it all well. Now add some water to it and prepare a thin paste of the dosa mixture.
Now take a nonstick pan / tawa and grease it with a spoon of oil and keep it on the gas. When the griddle becomes hot, put half a cup of dosa mixture in the center and spread it thinly all around in a circular motion. After this, add some chopped onions and green chilies on top. After this, roast it for three to four minutes.Meanwhile, pour oil on the edges and let the dosa turn light brown. After that fold it with the help of a flip and take it out in a plate. In this way your delicious Onion Rava Dosa is ready. It can be served with sambar or chutney.
